Node.js Developer

Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.

- Build and consume RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.

- Implement third-party API integrations, including payment gateways.

- Develop applications using Node.js frameworks such as Express, Koa, Hapi, or LoopBack.

- Collaborate with frontend teams working on Angular / React applications.

- Write clean, efficient, well-structured, and testable code.

- Perform unit testing and support automated testing processes.

- Work with relational and NoSQL databases to ensure optimal data storage and retrieval.

- Use Git / Bitbucket for version control and follow best development practices.

- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.

- Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js development.

- Strong experience with Angular and exposure to React.

- Excellent knowledge of RESTful web services and API design.

- Hands-on experience with third-party integrations and payment gateways.

- Experience with unit testing frameworks and methodologies.

- Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript.

- Experience with databases :

1. MySQL

2. MongoDB

3. DynamoDB

- Strong understanding of backend performance, scalability, and security.

- Proficiency with version control tools such as Git and Bitbucket.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Passion for building high-quality products and learning new technologies.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with AWS services, especially Lambda and S3.

- Exposure to serverless architecture.

- Familiarity with cloud-native application development.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
