Node.js Developer - TypeScript/Express.js

Backend NodeJS Developer
Experience 6 + yrs to 8 yrs.

Job Description :

- 4+ years backend Node.js (ES6/Typescript) with Express.js/NestJS.

- Strong database skills : DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL (design, optimization, query tuning).

- Experience designing RESTful APIs, exposure to GraphQL.

- Strong in unit and integration testing (Jest, supertest).

- Experience with CI/CD (GitLab CI, Docker, containerization best practices).

- Knowledge of caching (Redis), messaging queues (SQS/Kafka/RabbitMQ).

- AWS expertise : Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, DynamoDB.

- Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and scalability patterns.

- Knowledge of authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth2, Cognito).

- Experience with monitoring & logging (ELK stack, Datadog, X-Ray).

- Agile Scrum, Jira/Confluence, RESTful service design, TDD, Clean code.

- Good written and Verbal communication.

- Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.

- Experience working with international clients (UK & US).

- Meeting tight deadlines with a cool head.

- Ability to handle pressure and last minute changes.

- Taking responsibility and ownership for development work.

- Meeting the customer quality standards.

Good to Have :

- Experience developing secure, de-coupled & resilience Microservices.

- Good team player.

- API Gateway, Sequelize, SonarQube, Datadog.

- Gov/NHS Service Standards, CDDO Technology Code of Practice.
