Node.js Developer - NestJS/Express.js

We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer with 1 to 6 years of experience to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in building scalable back-end services and robust APIs using the Node.js runtime environment. This key role involves the full lifecycle of server-side development : designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance logic, ensuring low latency, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional application responsiveness.

Primary Responsibility :

Backend Development and Scalability :

- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following industry best practices and established design patterns.

- Focus on designing server-side logic that ensures high performance and responsiveness to all front-end requests.

API Architecture and Integration :

- Build robust and well-documented RESTful APIs and, where required, GraphQL endpoints to seamlessly support modern front-end applications.

- Integrate third-party services and APIs (e.g., payment gateways, external data providers) to enhance core application functionality.

- Ensure seamless communication and data flow between the server-side logic and the front-end components.

Database Management and Optimization :

- Design and manage database schemas and complex queries for both relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB).

- Optimize database performance, including query tuning and indexing strategies, and ensure rigorous data integrity across all systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 16 years of professional experience in Node.js backend development.

- Core Technology : Extensive, hands-on experience in building scalable backend services using Node.js.

- API Development : Proven ability to build RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints.

- Databases : Strong design and management skills with both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases.

- Coding Quality : Commitment to writing clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.

- Collaboration : Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) deployment and managed services.

- Familiarity with TypeScript.

- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

- Experience with caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis).
