About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Node.js Developer with 4- 6 years of hands-on backend development experience. The role involves designing and implementing scalable APIs, building full-stack applications, optimizing performance, and working in a fast-paced development environment with onsite collaboration.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js

- Design, develop, and implement scalable APIs and microservices

- Architect applications across varying complexity and ensure performance optimization

- Conduct performance testing, debugging, and code-quality improvements

- Work with databases and ensure efficient data handling

- Utilize Unix/Linux-based development environments and understand core networking concepts

- Apply Test Driven Development practices for robust code delivery

- Work with scripting languages such as Node.js, Python, Shell, or similar

- Integrate and adapt open-source code for development needs

- Leverage LLMs and AI tools to improve coding efficiency

- Collaborate in MEAN/MERN-based full-stack development tasks

- Gain exposure to API gateways, OAuth, queues, CI pipelines, and debugging tools

- Prepare clear and comprehensive technical documentation

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and travel to client sites when required

Required Skillsets :

- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js backend development

- Expertise in API design, implementation, and architecture

- Good understanding of MEAN and MERN stack development

- Solid knowledge of databases and data structures

- Strong understanding of Unix/Linux environments and networking fundamentals

- Experience with Test Driven Development

- Proficiency in scripting using Node.js, Python, or Unix shell

- Ability to use and adapt open-source code

- Familiarity with API gateways, OAuth, queues, debugging tools, and CI pipelines

- Ability to learn quickly, research efficiently, and Google solutions effectively

- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities

- Willingness to travel to client locations when required

Qualifications :

- BE in IT or equivalent
