Description :

We are looking for a highly experienced Node.js Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance backend systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building robust architectures, mentoring teams, and driving technical excellence across complex distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and own end-to-end backend architecture using Node.js for large-scale, high-availability systems.

- Define technical standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines for backend development.

- Lead system design discussions, architecture reviews, and performance optimization initiatives.

- Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend teams, and DevOps to deliver scalable solutions.

- Architect microservices, APIs, and event-driven systems with a focus on reliability and security.

- Ensure system scalability, fault tolerance, data consistency, and high availability.

- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and guide teams on complex technical decisions.

- Evaluate new technologies and frameworks to continuously improve backend platforms.

Skills Required :

- Strong expertise in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript for backend systems.

- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.

- Deep understanding of system design, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.

- Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling at scale.

- Knowledge of message queues, caching, and asynchronous processing.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization tools.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex architectural challenges.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 10+ years of backend development experience with at least 3- 5 years in an architectural or technical leadership role.
