Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled Node.js Architect to design, develop, and optimize scalable backend solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Node.js, microservices architecture, cloud platforms, API design, and modern development best practices. This role requires strong technical leadership, the ability to make high-level design decisions, and hands-on coding competency.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable and high-performance backend systems using Node.js.

- Provide Architectural design, showcase that he can make platform-level design decisions and demonstrate leadership as to how the platform can evolve

- Define technical standards, best practices, coding guidelines, and architectural frameworks.

- Design and optimize microservices-based architecture and distributed systems.

- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and DevOps teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.

- Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor engineering teams.

- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks to improve development efficiency and system quality.

- Ensure system security, reliability, scalability, and high availability.

- Architect RESTful and GraphQL APIs with efficient data modeling.

- Oversee cloud deployment architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Troubleshoot complex performance, scalability, and production issues.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10+ years of overall software development experience, with 5+ years in Node.js.

- Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks.

- Deep understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.

- Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Strong understanding of database systemsSQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis), and data modeling.

- Experience with API gateway, security standards (OAuth, JWT), and API lifecycle management.

- Knowledge of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS).

- Proven ability to create scalable system architecture and handle high-throughput environments.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead complex technical decisions
