Position : Node.js + Networking Engineer

Experience : 5 - 8 Years

Location : Bangalore & Pune (Hybrid)

Position Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer with 5 to 8 years of experience and a strong understanding of networking concepts. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain backend services while working closely on systems that require network-level knowledge and communication.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js

- Integrate applications with network-based systems and APIs

- Work with networking protocols like TCP/IP, HTTP, WebSockets, DNS

- Troubleshoot and resolve backend and network-related issues

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

- Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams for deployment and testing

Required Skills :

- 58 years of experience in backend development with Node.js

- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols

- Experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks

- Knowledge of API development and integration (REST, JSON, WebSockets)

- Familiarity with Linux-based environments and shell scripting

- Version control using Git

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field

- Experience with network security, firewalls, proxies, and authentication

- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Experience in building network monitoring or automation tools

- Networking certification will be added advantage
