Role Summary :

Design and architect an API Hub for media measurement data APIs, built as a reusable platform for future ones. This person is the technical expert who also represents the architecture to clients and partners.

Responsibilities :

- Design the core API Hub architecture : shared data model, reusable business logic, config-driven so new APIs plug in easily.

- Define the data aggregation model (entity, segmentation, facts) behind large-scale audience/usage queries.

- Decide API protocol, sync/async patterns, data formats, and backend engine based on scale and performance needs.

- Build in licensing and access control (RBAC) from the start.

- Set API contract and versioning strategy (OpenAPI/Swagger).

- Ensure results are reproducible, auditable, and well-documented.

- Evaluate BI integration options (Power BI, Tableau).

- Represent the architecture to clients and partners explain, defend, and translate business questions into technical decisions.

Qualifications :

What We're Looking For :

- 10+ Years of Experience in AWS Web services and ETL.

- Experience architecting client-facing data/analytics APIs at scale.

- Knowledge of API design trade-offs (REST/GraphQL, sync/async, OLAP vs. lightweight backends).

- Experience with multi-tier licensing/RBAC design.

- Comfortable with open-source, vendor-neutral tech stacks.

- Knowledge of BI integration (Power BI, Tableau).

- Strong client- and partner-facing communication skills.

- Media measurement or data analytics background a plus.
