We are looking for a Technical Lead Engineer who is a strong, hands-on technical leader capable of driving high-performing engineering teams to deliver impactful, scalable, and reliable solutions.


You will play a critical role in shaping the product roadmap, driving architectural excellence, ensuring timely delivery, and fostering a culture of engineering rigor.

Your day at Nference :

- Manage the full software delivery lifecycle : From estimation, planning, and prioritization to execution, delivery, and post-delivery monitoring.

- Own delivery outcomes : Ensure engineering quality and predictability while balancing tech debt, business goals, and delivery timelines.

- Manage ambiguity and multiple priorities : Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where adaptability and clear communication are key.

Skills & Experience Required :

- 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Python Developer with deep expertise in Python frameworks.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in leading teams.

- Strong experience designing and developing distributed systems that process large datasets across cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.

- Proven ability to design and implement scalable microservices architectures, with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability.

- Deep experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (K8s) including Helm, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Autoscaling, Taints/Tolerations, Namespaces, and RBAC.

- Proficient in CI/CD practices and tooling, with hands-on exposure to DevOps pipelines and automation (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).

- Strong understanding of database systems, including relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (BigQuery), as well as data modeling, SQL performance tuning, and migration techniques.

- Experience working with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, EHR/EMR integration) and building compliant ETL pipelines.

- Skilled in code and architecture reviews, mentoring team members, and enforcing coding standards and best practices.

- Capable of working closely with Product Managers and Business stakeholders to define and deliver on engineering roadmaps.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

- Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration abilities.
