About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Developer with strong experience in backend engineering, API development, and database design.

The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performing backend services and contribute to the overall technical growth of the project and team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA.

- Build and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs for web and mobile applications.

- Develop efficient database schemas, queries, and stored procedures using MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.

- Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and product teams to define technical requirements and deliver reliable solutions.

- Work with Docker for containerized development and deployments.

- Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure SQL, Container Instances, etc.

- Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of backend systems.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry best practices.

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 7+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.

- Strong proficiency in Java and experience with the Spring Boot ecosystem.

- Hands-on experience with Spring Data JPA and ORM frameworks.

- Solid understanding of REST and GraphQL API design and implementation.

- Strong database skills with MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.

- Experience with Azure Cloud Services for deployment and monitoring.

- Proficiency with Docker for containerization.

- Understanding of software development best practices, including version control (Git), testing, and CI/CD.

- Ability to work in an agile team environment, with good communication and problem-solving skills.
