Role Overview :

We are seeking a Technical Lead / Group Lead LMS with strong expertise in Loan Management / Loan Servicing Systems, deep database design and development skills, and hands-on experience in Java-based enterprise applications. The role involves technical ownership of LMS modules, solution design, team guidance, and ensuring high-quality delivery in a banking product environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own and lead the technical design and development of Loan Management / Loan Servicing modules, including :

a. Loan lifecycle events

b. Repayment schedules, accruals, prepayments

c. Charges, fees, penalties

d. Accounting definitions and GL integrations

- Provide technical leadership to development teams, ensuring adherence to design standards and best practices.

- Design and implement high-performance, scalable database solutions for transaction-intensive LMS systems.

- Hands-on development and review of PL/SQL / T-SQL artifacts

- Packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, cursors, indexes, jobs

- Contribute to and review Java and JavaScript code for services, integrations, and UI layers.

- Guide teams in performance tuning, query optimization, and database best practices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex functional and technical issues across environments (DEV/UAT/PROD).

- Work closely with Product, Business, Architecture, and QA teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

- Ensure quality delivery, code reviews, defect-free releases, and compliance with SDLC processes.

- Support integrations, data feeds, batch jobs, and interfaces with upstream/downstream systems.

Technical & Functional Skills :

- 5 to 8 years of overall IT experience with significant hands-on experience in Loan Management Systems (LMS).

- Strong domain knowledge in loan servicing from business and IT perspectives, including :

a. Events, repayments, charges, fees

b. Accounting and financial postings

- Deep expertise in Database Design and Development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server.

- Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL / T-SQL with end-to-end ownership in at least one LMS implementation.

- Solid working knowledge of Java and JavaScript in enterprise applications.

- Exposure to microservices or service-oriented architectures

- Strong understanding of SDLC and product development lifecycle

Qualification :

- B.E / B. Tech in Computer Science
