Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer to join our core technology team.

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance systems and analytical tools that support our trading and quantitative research activities.

You will collaborate closely with quantitative researchers, data scientists, and low-latency developers to build robust, scalable, and secure software solutions for live trading environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and internal tools that power our financial and trading systems.

- Data Pipeline Management: Build and optimize high-speed data ingestion and processing pipelines for tick-level and order book data.

- Collaboration: Work with quants, traders, and infrastructure engineers to design seamless integrations between research models, execution engines, and data platforms.

- Performance Optimization: Profile and optimize code for speed, scalability, and resource efficiency.

- Security & Reliability: Implement best practices in code security, access control, and data protection for sensitive financial data.

- Testing & Quality: Develop unit tests, participate in peer reviews, and ensure code quality and maintainability.

- Documentation: Maintain structured and comprehensive documentation for all developed tools and frameworks.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with new technologies, frameworks, and market trends to continuously enhance our technology stack.

Required Qualifications :

- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

- Experience: 25 years of professional experience in Python development (preferably in trading, fintech, or data-intensive domains).

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Python and its core libraries (NumPy, pandas, asyncio, etc.

- Hands-on experience with RESTful API design and implementation.

- Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (PostgreSQL/MySQL).

- Familiarity with web frameworks (e.g , Flask, FastAPI, Django).

- Understanding of data serialization and messaging (e.g , JSON, Protocol Buffers, Kafka, ZeroMQ).

- Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Exposure to Linux environments and shell scripting.

- Experience in performance optimization and multi-threaded or asynchronous programming.

Preferred / Desirable Skills :

- Experience with financial systems, market data, or HFT infrastructure.

- Knowledge of financial modeling, quantitative analysis, or trading systems.

- Exposure to machine learning, data analysis, or statistical modeling.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) and containerization (Docker).

- Understanding of C++ integration with Python for low-latency applications.
