Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Network Operations and Production Network Engineer with deep expertise in enterprise and banking-grade network environments. The role focuses on production network operations, incident management, troubleshooting, and automation, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across complex on-prem and cloud-integrated infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities :

Network Operations & Production Support :

- Provide 24x7 production network support for enterprise-scale environments, including incident response and root cause analysis.

- Manage and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, data center, and hybrid cloud networks in high-availability environments.

- Support network operations in regulated domains, including banking or financial services environments.

- Perform change management, configuration updates, and production deployments with minimal downtime.

Routing, Switching & Data Center :

- Operate and troubleshoot Cisco-based networks including LAN/WAN, BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, NX-OS, and ACI.

- Support data center and campus network infrastructure with a strong focus on resiliency and performance.

Security, Load Balancing & Access :

- Operate and troubleshoot F5 (LTM, GTM, DNS) for application traffic management and global load balancing.

- Manage and support firewalls, proxies, and secure access platforms, including Fortinet and Zscaler.

- Support enterprise DNS/DHCP services using Infobox.

Advanced Troubleshooting :

- Perform deep packet-level troubleshooting using tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump.

- Troubleshoot TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, and application connectivity issues across complex network paths.

- Work closely with application, security, and infrastructure teams to resolve critical production issues.

Automation & Modern Networking :

- Develop and maintain network automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions using Python, Ansible, and Terraform.

- Support initiatives around network virtualization, cloud networking, and Zero Trust architectures.

- Contribute to operational improvements through automation, monitoring, and proactive alerting.

Required Skills & Experience :

Mandatory Experience :

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in network operations and production support.

- Strong background supporting enterprise or banking environments with strict uptime and security requirements.

Core Networking :

- Extensive experience with Cisco networking technologies :

1. LAN/WAN, BGP, OSPF

2. SD-WAN

3. NX-OS and ACI

Security & Traffic Management :

- Hands-on experience with F5 (LTM, GTM, DNS).

- Experience supporting Fortinet firewalls and Zscaler solutions.

- Strong understanding of firewalls, load balancers, proxies, and secure network access models.

Network Services & Protocols :

- Strong experience with DNS/DHCP/IPAM (Infobox).

- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, and network protocol behavior.

Automation & Cloud :

- Experience with network automation and scripting using Python, Ansible, and Terraform.

- Exposure to cloud networking, network virtualization, and Zero Trust security concepts.
