Network Security Engineer

Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security, hands-on experience with advanced security tools, and the ability to design and enforce security policies.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement network security policies and procedures.

- Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify and mitigate security threats.

- Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

- Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches.

- Maintain and update firewall configurations and other security tools.

- Collaborate with IT teams to design secure network architectures.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security engineers.

- Stay current with emerging cyber threats and security trends.

Skills :

- Firewall management Palo-Alto, FortiGate, Checkpoint, ASA.

- Routing and switching.

- Network traffic analysis.

- Virtual Private Network (VPN) technologies.

- Cisco umbrella.

- Meraki switch, WLC and AP.

- Good hands on troubleshooting experience with LAN and WAN.

- SD-WAN.

- Load-Balancer.

Responsibilities :

- Design, Configure, and Implement robust and scalable LAN/WAN infrastructure (e.g., routers, switches, access points) to meet business requirements.

- Manage the configuration and deployment of routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and switching technologies (e.g., VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol, link aggregation).

- Maintain optimal network performance through ongoing monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of network devices and links.

- Manage IP address schemas and implement DHCP and DNS services across the network infrastructure.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams , inventories, and configuration baselines.

- Plan and execute network upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

- Provision and manage connectivity for cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid networking solutions.

- Administer and maintain network monitoring systems (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow) to ensure continuous visibility and proactive identification of issues.
