- We are seeking an experienced Senior OSS/NMS Technical Lead to provide strategic direction and hands-on expertise in our IT application domain.

- This role offers the exciting opportunity to lead a small team of 2-3 developers while spearheading the development, operations, and continuous improvement of network management systems.

- You'll play a pivotal role in aligning technical solutions with telco-specific processes, ensuring robust service delivery and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Deliver technical leadership in the NMS IT application domain, with the potential to guide and mentor a small team of 2-3 developers.

- Serve as a specialist in OSS/NMS network planning, setup processes, and service delivery mechanisms.

- Lead in the technical domain, leveraging deep knowledge of OSS/NMS application solutions tailored for telecommunications.

- Ensure development adheres to Telco Service Assurance processes, including ITSM, T2R, and

FCAPS frameworks.

- Implement telco-specific solutions incorporating protocols such as SNMP and telemetry.

- Oversee the delivery of development projects and operational support for NMS/OSS

applications and platforms like SMARTS, Cramer, Wat4Net, Ciena, and NOKIA.

- Manage the efficient delivery of requirements through strong coordination with business

teams.

- Lead the analysis and implementation of DevOps and CI/CD methodologies using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and Kubernetes, while providing training and support to team members.

- Provide senior management with comprehensive visibility and reports on end-to-end service management of the NMS application estate, highlighting any issues or risks.

- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and technically lead the implementation of ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change management under EXA CAB, as well as ticket and service request handling.

- Offer application support to business users and the team for issues escalated from the NOC, covering application integration and underlying setups.

- Develop and document new processes to streamline IT NMS application development and operations.

Required Qualifications and Skills :


- Proven experience in technical leadership within OSS/NMS domains, ideally with team management responsibilities.

- In-depth knowledge of telco-specific protocols (e.g., SNMP, telemetry) and Service Assurance processes (ITSM, T2R, FCAPS).

- Hands-on expertise with NMS/OSS platforms such as SMARTS, Cramer, Wat4Net, Ciena, and NOKIA.

- Strong background in DevOps and CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab, and Kubernetes.

- Familiarity with ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.

- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with business teams and providing senior-

level reporting.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field; 8+ years of relevant experience preferred.
