Network Engineer

Role Overview :

As a Network Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's robust and secure network infrastructure. Your daily activities will involve troubleshooting complex network issues, configuring network devices, and ensuring optimal network performance.

You will collaborate closely with IT support teams, security specialists, and application developers to deliver reliable network services to our internal users and external clients, directly impacting business productivity and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will be crucial in safeguarding our network against threats and ensuring business continuity.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement network infrastructure solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability for all business applications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless network operations for all users.

- Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, to ensure optimal performance and security for the organization.

- Develop and implement network security policies and procedures, protecting sensitive data and ensuring compliance with industry regulations for the entire organization.

- Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement, optimizing network efficiency and enhancing user experience for all stakeholders.

- Manage and maintain Windows Servers, ensuring smooth operation and integration with the network infrastructure for all departments.

- Automate network tasks using scripting languages, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort for the IT team.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new projects and initiatives, ensuring seamless network integration and alignment with business goals for the entire organization.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructures, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

- Proven expertise in troubleshooting network issues, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to quickly resolve problems and minimize downtime.

- Extensive knowledge of network security principles and practices, including firewall configuration, intrusion detection/prevention, and VPN management.

- Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols, routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), and network virtualization technologies.

- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automating network tasks and improving operational efficiency.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.

- Hold a valid CCNP and CCNA certification, demonstrating a strong foundation in Cisco networking technologies.

- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience in network architecture design, ensuring scalability and security for future growth.

- Familiarity with various firewall technologies and security best practices, ensuring robust network protection.
