Job Summary :
Key Responsibilities :
- Wireless and SD-WAN Management : Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki Wireless and SD-WAN devices (MX, MS, MR) across multiple locations. Operate and maintain the Cisco Wireless LAN Controller (WLC 9800 series) and associated Cisco Wifi infrastructure.
- Firewall and Security Operations : Operate and maintain security devices, including the Palo Alto 1140 firewall and Cisco Firewalls. Utilize security tools like Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) and NAC (Network Access Control) for network automation and secure access control.
- Operational Excellence : Actively participate in all relevant ITIL processes, including Incident, Change, Release, Problem, and Vulnerability Management. Handle high-priority P1/P2 escalations and lead RCA (Root Cause Analysis) efforts to ensure strict SLA compliance.
- Infrastructure Support : Provide expert support for complex enterprise-grade network infrastructure, specifically supporting environments for clients like BAT and Regus.
- Automation & Architecture : Leverage Cisco Catalyst Center (DNA Center) for network automation and assurance. Implement and maintain principles of Zero Trust Architecture and secure network access.
- Team Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, provide mentorship to junior staff, and be prepared to support a 24x7 operational model.
Qualifications
- Routing Protocols : Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- Switching : Deep expertise in Layer 2/3 technologies : VLANs, VXLAN, STP, RSTP, Trunking, EtherChannel, VTP, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, and managing switches like the Cisco 9300 models.
- Wireless & SD-WAN : Proven experience with Cisco WLC 9800 series and managing Meraki MX/MS/MR devices.
- Firewalls & Security : Hands-on experience operating Palo Alto 1140 and Cisco Firewalls. Experience with security tools : Zscaler ZIA/ZPA, Cisco ISE, and NAC.
- Network Tools : Familiarity with network monitoring and analysis tools such as Cisco Packet Tracer, Nmap, Wireshark, and Zabbix.
- Automation & Cloud : Experience with Cisco DNA Center (Cisco Catalyst Center) and principles of Zero Trust Architecture.
- ITIL : Strong understanding and practical experience with ITIL Areas (Incident, Change, Release, Problem, Vulnerability Management).
- Certifications : Industry-standard network certifications (e.g., CCNP, Meraki CMNA, Palo Alto PCNSA) are highly preferred.
