Network Engineer - Datacenter

About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Network Engineer with strong SONiC networking expertise to join our growing infrastructure and networking team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in data center networking, network automation, programmable networking technologies, and routing protocols.

Candidates with an L2 Support background can also be considered if they possess practical exposure to YANG or gNMI and have worked on network automation/configuration tasks. Key

Responsibilities :

- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud) based network environments.

- Work on programmatic network configuration and automation using technologies such as gNMI and YANG.

- Manage and optimize data center networking infrastructure.

- Perform routing configuration and troubleshooting using FRR (Free Range Routing), especially OSPF.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Bash scripting.

- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams for network deployment and issue resolution.

- Participate in network monitoring, debugging, and performance tuning activities.

- Support iterative and automated network configuration workflows.

- Assist in console/network setup, troubleshooting, and operational support activities.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced remote environment.

Required Skills & Expertise :

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong experience with SONiC Networking

- Hands-on experience in: gNMI YANG (Experience in either gNMI or YANG is acceptable)

- Experience in network automation/programmatic configuration

- Strong scripting expertise in: Python Bash Good understanding of Data Center Networking Experience with FRR Routing (OSPF)
