About the Role :
As a Network Engineer, you will be supporting LAN/WAN network, SD WAN/4G/5G WAN Links, Data center networking, load balancer, DNS/DHCP/IP Management, WLAN experience such as Access Point/CAP WAP/Wireless controller.
Responsibilities :
- Supporting LAN/WAN network.

- WLAN experience such as Access Point/CAP WAP/Wireless controller.
Required Skills :
- Knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, wireless LAN and security technologies.
- Good understanding of OSI Model, TCP/IP protocol suite (IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP, FTP, TFTP).
- Experience on routing protocols OSPF, BGP, EIGRP.
- Basic knowledge of the tools like HP NNM, Solarwinds.
- Good understanding or experience in SD WAN/4G/5G WAN technologies.
- Supporting and troubleshooting of wireless LAN environment involving Access Points and Controller.
- Understanding of Data Center networking and load balancer would be added advantage.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience in a large enterprise environment is needed.
- Network monitoring/supporting experience is essential.
- Hands-on experience in routers/switches/data centres/Load balancer/APs/WLCs are needed.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco IOS, Cisco Routers and Switching products.
- DNS/DHCP/IP Management experience.
- Experience in configuring and troubleshooting F5 load balancer and Citrix NetScaler.
- Good experience in prepare HLD and LLD Visio schematic for transformation documentation.
- Authentication Protocols like TACAS/RADIUS/802.1x knowledge.
- Good understanding of Datacenter architecture, its networking requirement.
- Experience in supporting wireless LAN access points and wireless LAN controllers.
- Good knowledge of SD WAN technology.
- New age WAN circuits for underlay of SD WAN such as Cable Broadband/4G/5G WAN links.
- Networking requirements for addressing enterprise DR/BCM.
- Experience and understanding for need for automation in network routine jobs such as upgrades/reporting.
- Basic programming knowledge in Python or shell scripting would be added advantage.
- An ability to pinpoint issues and escalating it to right team during bridge call, would be good.
- An ability to explain the exact problem in comprehensive way to management team, would be good.
- An ability to understand the criticality of an issue impacting business and prioritising is essential.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues independently, clear communication across technical and non-technical teams, strong documentation and process adherence, team collaboration in high-pressure environments.
