Network Architect - Datacenter

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Network Architect to design, automate, and optimize large-scale data center network infrastructure.

This role requires deep expertise in network architecture along with strong automation skills using Python and Ansible to drive efficiency, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and architect data center network solutions (LAN, WAN, Spine-Leaf, Clos architecture).

- Develop and implement network automation using Python and Ansible

i. Define network standards, design principles, and best practices

ii. Lead deployment of scalable, high-availability, and secure network infrastructure

iii. Automate configuration management, provisioning, and monitoring.

- Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Security teams for integrated solutions

i. Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization

ii. Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide root cause analysis

iii. Ensure network security, compliance, and governance standards.

- Create architecture documentation, HLD/LLD, and runbooks.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8-15 years of experience in network engineering/architecture

i. Strong expertise in data center networking concepts and design

ii. Hands-on experience with: Python scripting for network automation

iii. Ansible for configuration management and orchestration.

- Deep knowledge of:

i. Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)

ii. Switching technologies (VLANs, VXLAN, EVPN)

iii. Load balancing and network security concepts

iv. Experience with Spine-Leaf architecture and network fabrics

v. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Good to Have :

- Experience with cloud networking (AWS / Azure / GCP)

- Knowledge of SDN (Software-Defined Networking) .

- Exposure to network monitoring and observability tools

- Certifications such as CCIE / CCNP / AWS Advanced Networking

Key Expectations :

- Drive network automation and modernization initiatives.

- Build scalable and resilient data center networks

- Lead from the front on architecture and technical decisions

- Mentor teams and establish best practices.
