Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Network & Security Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience in implementing, managing and troubleshooting enterprise network and security infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Cisco networking, Fortinet firewalls, wireless networking, VPN technologies and endpoint security solutions. The role is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance and security of the organization's IT infrastructure.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Configure, manage and troubleshoot Cisco Layer 2 switches.

- Administer and maintain Fortinet firewalls, including security policies, NAT, VPNs, high availability (HA) and security profiles.

- Configure and support LAN, WAN and wireless network infrastructure.

- Install, configure and troubleshoot wireless Access Points (APs).

- Configure and maintain Site-to-Site VPN and Remote Access VPN connectivity.

- Monitor Internet links to ensure optimal performance and availability and coordinate with ISPs to resolve link-related issues.

- Perform proactive link monitoring using monitoring tools.

- Monitor network health, identify bottlenecks and resolve connectivity and security issues.

- Manage and monitor Trend Micro endpoint security solutions to ensure protection against malware and cyber threats.

- Implement network security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational security standards.

- Perform firmware upgrades, software updates and security patching for network devices.

- Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, IP address management and standard operating procedures.

- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for incident resolution and hardware replacement.

- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis and disaster recovery planning. Maintain backup configurations for network and security devices to ensure business continuity.

- Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Cisco (CCNA) and/or Fortinet certifications will be an added advantage.
