Position: Network Administrator

Experience: 6 - 9 Years

Shift Timings: 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST or 6:00 PM - 3:30 AM IST

Location: Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Network Administrator with strong hands-on expertise in Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Prisma solutions, and enterprise networking. The candidate will be responsible for firewall administration, network security, routing and switching, VPN connectivity, troubleshooting, and day-to-day network operations.

Must-Have Skills:

- 6 - 9 years of experience in network administration, network engineering, or network security.

- Mandatory hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Prisma solutions.

- Strong knowledge of routing and switching, including TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, and static routing.

- Experience with firewall policy configuration, NAT, VPN, and network troubleshooting.

- Experience with Panorama, PAN-OS, and GlobalProtect/Prisma Access/Prisma SD-WAN.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Willingness to work in either of the specified shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer and maintain Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama.

- Configure and manage firewall policies, NAT rules, routing, security profiles, and access controls.

- Support Prisma solutions, VPN connectivity, and secure remote access.

- Monitor network performance, firewall traffic, and security events.

- Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and application access issues.

- Perform firewall upgrades, configuration backups, policy reviews, and security remediation.

- Investigate network incidents and perform root-cause analysis.

- Coordinate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and application teams.

- Maintain network documentation and follow incident and change-management procedures.

Good-to-Have Skills:

- Palo Alto PCNSA or PCNSE certification.

- Experience with other firewall technologies such as Fortinet, Check Point, or Cisco ASA.

- Exposure to AWS/Azure networking, Zero Trust, and SASE architectures.

- Experience with network monitoring and packet-analysis tools.

- Experience supporting life sciences projects.
