Role Overview :

As a Network Administrator - Palo Alto at Sysmind Tech PVT LTD, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure, with a strong focus on Palo Alto Firewall technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security engineers, system administrators, and application developers, to ensure the security, stability, and performance of our network. Your expertise will be crucial in safeguarding our critical assets and enabling seamless connectivity for our users.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and manage Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including policy creation, rule modification, and threat prevention.

- Monitor network performance and security, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.

- Implement and maintain VPN solutions, ensuring secure remote access for employees and partners.

- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques to quickly identify and resolve root causes.

- Design and implement network security solutions, including intrusion detection/prevention systems, to protect against cyber threats.

- Manage and maintain SD-WAN infrastructure, optimizing network performance and reducing costs.

- Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce security policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, identifying and remediating potential weaknesses in the network infrastructure.

- Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

- Provide technical support and guidance to other IT staff, assisting with network-related issues and projects.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Networks firewalls.

- Proven expertise in network administration, including routing, switching, and VPN technologies.

- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.

- Experience with SD-WAN technologies and their implementation.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex network issues.

- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

- 6-10 years of relevant experience in Network Administration and Security.
