Role Overview :

As a Network Administrator based in Chennai, you will be responsible for the health, security, and performance of our enterprise network infrastructure. You will work closely with the internal IT operations team and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless connectivity and robust data flow across all organizational platforms. Your day-to-day efforts will directly impact business continuity by minimizing downtime, fortifying network security perimeters, and ensuring that our technical environment remains agile enough to support the evolving needs of our global client base.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and maintain complex routing and switching environments to ensure optimal network performance and reliability for internal and external users.

- Configure and administer firewall policies to protect organizational assets and sensitive data from unauthorized access or external threats.

- Oversee the deployment and maintenance of VPN solutions to facilitate secure remote access for distributed teams.

- Execute proactive troubleshooting of network latency, connectivity issues, and hardware failures to maintain high service level agreements.

- Implement and monitor network performance using industry-standard monitoring tools to identify and resolve bottlenecks before they impact operations.

- Collaborate with the infrastructure team to upgrade and scale network hardware, including Cisco and Aruba devices, to support organizational growth.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing Cisco and Aruba network hardware within large-scale enterprise environments.

- Strong technical proficiency in TCP/IP protocols, routing, and switching configurations to ensure stable network architecture.

- Proven ability to manage firewall security and VPN configurations to maintain a secure and compliant network perimeter.

- Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools to track performance metrics and generate actionable insights for infrastructure optimization.

- Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose complex network issues under pressure.

- Strong communication skills to effectively document network changes and coordinate with global team members.

- Ability to work effectively in an on-site capacity in Chennai, demonstrating adaptability to local operational requirements.

- Candidates must possess 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in network administration and infrastructure management.
