Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and proactive CA NetOps Technical Support Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in network monitoring and infrastructure support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and operational maintenance for CA NetOps solutions to ensure high availability and performance of network services. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a 24x7 support environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide L2/L3 technical support for CA NetOps tools including CA Spectrum, CA Performance Management (CAPM), and CA Network Flow Analysis (NFA).
- Monitor network health, performance, and availability using CA NetOps dashboards and alerts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and tool-related issues within defined SLAs.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and document findings.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize monitoring for routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other network devices.
- Manage device discovery, alarm configuration, threshold tuning, and reporting within CA NetOps.
- Coordinate with network, system, and application teams to resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Support tool upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
- Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Participate in shift-based support, including rotational shifts and on-call duties.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in CA NetOps Technical Support or Network Operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with CA Spectrum, CAPM, and NFA.
- Good understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, SNMP, LAN/WAN, routing, and switching.
- Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL).
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience in 24x7 NOC or operations support environments.
- Exposure to automation or scripting (Shell, Python) is an added advantage.
- ITIL certification is a plus.
