Mandatory:

- One OLTP ( MySQL )

- One NoSQL (either MongoDB or Cassandra)

- Proficiency in any one programming language

How will we evaluate you? ( not limited to ):

1. Proven experience with InnoDB engine internals.

2. Proven experience with the MySQL query optimizer.

3. Automation mindset.

4. This is not a typical manual admin profile.

5. Proven database migration experience.

6. If you focus on details, it will be good for us to understand you.

7. Proven experience with database upgrades.

8. Say, 8 - 8.

9. Proven troubleshooting experience.

10. Experience working with data sizes in the TB range and large clusters (e.g., 20 - 50 nodes per cluster) is beneficial.

11. Good if you able to convert business use case to technical.

12. Proven experience with the WiredTiger engine.

13. Good understanding of sharding, partitioning, sharded clusters, replication, HA and DR.

We will evaluate based on these.

Preferred but not mandatory :

- Good understanding of HTAP solutions.

- Good understanding of OLAP ( LSM ) based databases.

- Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and containers.

- CloudSQL and RDS

What we don't need?:

- Just installation, uninstallation, database creation, or user management experience.

- A non-problem-solving attitude.
