NetAnalytiks - Senior L3 Cisco Engineer - Network Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cisco Engineer (L3) to lead advanced network operations, troubleshooting, and design initiatives.

The role involves handling complex enterprise network environments, ensuring high availability, performance optimization, and security across infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide L3 support for complex network incidents, major outages, and escalations

- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade Cisco network infrastructure

- Perform deep-dive troubleshooting across LAN/WAN, Data Center, and Wireless networks

- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures

- Manage and optimize routing & switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLANs)

- Configure and support Cisco devices (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, WLCs)

- Ensure high availability using redundancy protocols (HSRP, VRRP, GLBP)

- Work on network security including ACLs, VPNs (IPSec/SSL), and segmentation

- Support network monitoring tools and proactively address performance issues

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Security, Cloud, DevOps)

- Maintain documentation, network diagrams, and SOPs

- Participate in change management, patching, and upgrades

- Mentor L1/L2 engineers and drive knowledge sharing

Required Skills & Expertise :

- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco technologies and platforms

- Expertise in Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)

- Experience with Cisco ASA / Firepower / Nexus / Catalyst switches

- Solid understanding of network security concepts (VPNs, Firewalls, IDS/IPS)

- Knowledge of load balancing and network optimization

- Experience with wireless networking (Cisco WLC, Access Points)

- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, etc.)

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for complex issues

- Experience in data center networking and architecture

- Exposure to cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus

Certifications (Preferred) :

- Cisco certifications such as CCNP / CCIE (Routing & Switching / Enterprise / Security)

- ITIL certification (preferred for process-oriented environments)

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field
