Position Title : .NET Web App Developer (.NET Full Stack)

Shift : UK Time zone (2PM to 11PM) - Hybrid

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Web Application Developer with strong experience in Microsoft technologies to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs, SQL Server, Entity Framework, Azure Cloud, and Azure DevOps, WCF, along with a solid understanding of application security best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and WCF.

- Build and integrate RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API.

- Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery UI, and Bootstrap.

- Create and optimize database solutions using SQL Server 2016 or later.

- Utilize Entity Framework for data access, migrations, and ORM-based development.

- Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on Microsoft Azure.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage source control using Azure DevOps.

- Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

- Apply secure coding practices and implement security controls to protect applications and data.

- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, architects, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in production and non-production environments.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

1. Backend Development :

- Strong proficiency in C#

- Experience with .NET Core

- Expertise in ASP.NET MVC, WCF

2. Frontend Development :

- Strong knowledge of JavaScript

- Experience with jQuery and jQuery UI

- Experience with Bootstrap 2+ and responsive web design

3. API Development :

- Hands-on experience building and consuming ASP.NET Web APIs

- Understanding of REST principles and API security

4. Database :

- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016+

- Ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and optimize performance

5. ORM :

- Experience with Entity Framework (Code First and Database First approaches)

6. Cloud & DevOps :

- Experience with Microsoft Azure services

- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, repositories, and release management

7. Security :

- Strong understanding of application security principles

- Experience implementing :

1. Authentication and Authorization

2. Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)

3. OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect

4. Secure API development

5. OWASP Top 10 best practices

6. Data encryption and secure data handling

7. Vulnerability assessment and remediation

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native application development.

- Experience with automated testing frameworks and code quality tools.

- Microsoft Azure certifications are a plus.

Experience :

- 8+ years of experience in web application development using Microsoft technologies.

- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale web applications and APIs.
