About the Role :

Company is looking for a talented and driven .NET & Node.js Developer to join its Web Portals delivery team.

In this role, you will own the development and maintenance of enterprise-grade web applications and APIs, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and high-performing. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, technology leads, and outsourced delivery partners to ship quality software solutions that power one of India's leading NBFCs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain .NET Core and Node.js-based web applications and APIs.

- Understand end-to-end technology infrastructure and application architecture to proactively identify and resolve technical issues.

- Translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions, managing delivery through outsourced teams.

- Lead or support new technology initiatives, POCs, time-bound R&D, and solution deliveries.

- Plan, execute, track, and report progress of technology projects and initiatives.

- Drive process improvements and adopt best practices for code quality, security, and delivery efficiency.

- Adhere to quality assurance and information security guidelines; maintain thorough documentation.

- Participate in review meetings, business user discussions, and IT governance forums.

Technical Skills :

Core Development :

- Proficiency in .NET Core, MVC, and Web API development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js backend development.

- Frontend skills using JavaScript and jQuery.

- Experience building responsive web applications.

APIs & Protocols :

- Deep understanding of HTTP methods and response codes.

- Design and consumption of REST/RESTful web services.

- Working knowledge of JSON and XML data formats.

Cloud & Infrastructure :

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms : AWS and/or Azure.

- Application scaling, load balancing, and performance optimization.

- Working knowledge of Nginx and IIS web servers.

Databases & Operating Systems :

- Proficiency in writing and optimizing queries on SQL Server and/or Oracle.

- Familiarity with NoSQL databases.

- Comfortable working on both Windows and Linux environments.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.

- 2 to 3 years of hands-on software development experience with .NET and/or Node.js.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
