Mandatory Skills : Hands on experience on Playwright and good communication skills

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced SDET Engineer with strong expertise in both automation and functional testing. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, hands-on experience in Playwright, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform end-to-end functional and automation testing across electron based applications.

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test frameworks.

- Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and business teams to understand requirements.

- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and defect reports.

- Ensure high-quality releases through regression testing, integration testing, and performance validation.

- Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and other Agile ceremonies.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6 - 10 years of strong experience in SDET (both automation + functional).

- 2+ years of experience with Playwright (mandatory).

- Strong programming experience in JavaScript or TypeScript (at least one required).

- Experience developing automation frameworks and scripts from scratch.

- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).

- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication skills.

Good To Have Skills :

- Strong knowledge of using AI tools for testing and automation development. Eg : Copilot, Cursor.
