Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain robust backend services using Python/Django.

- Work with distributed task queues (Celery) and caching mechanisms (Redis).

- Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases, ensuring high performance and reliability.

- Design and maintain APIs across gRPC, REST, and GraphQL, ensuring schema versioning and backward compatibility.

- Write and maintain unit, integration, and contract tests integrated into CI/CD pipelines.

- Implement observability best practices with Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, structured logging, and Grafana dashboards.

- Profile and optimize application performance, including analyzing SQL query plans and tuning production systems.

- Contribute to cloud-native deployments using tools like Docker and GitHub Actions.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical solutions clearly.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience.

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python/Django in production.

- Strong knowledge of Celery, PostgreSQL, and Redis.

- Proven experience in API design (gRPC, REST, GraphQL) and handling versioning

- Solid experience in testing practices with coverage metrics and CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana)

- Experience in performance tuning and production debugging.

- Comfortable working in cloud-native environments (Docker, GitHub Actions)

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have :

- Familiarity with TypeScript or Golang.

- Prior experience in the e-commerce domain
