Role : Nautobot Engineer
Job Description :
- Design, deploy, and maintain Nautobot as the Network Source of Truth (SoT).
- Integrate Nautobot with network automation platforms (e.g., Ansible, Nornir, Netmiko, Napalm).
- Develop and maintain Nautobot plugins, jobs, and custom applications.
- Manage Nautobot data models, device inventory, IPAM, VLANs, circuits, and relationships.
- Build and support API-based workflows using REST, GraphQL, and webhooks.
- Automate network configuration generation and provisioning using Nautobot data.
- Implement role-based access control and handle user, permissions, and tenancy models.
- Ensure data accuracy, validation rules, and enforce SoT consistency across systems.
- Create CI/CD pipelines to validate and deploy Nautobot configurations (GitOps).
- Maintain underlying infrastructure (Docker/Kubernetes/PostgreSQL as applicable).
- Troubleshoot Nautobot platform issues, performance problems, plugin failures, and integrations.
- Collaborate with network engineers to automate operational processes and infrastructure changes.
- Document system architecture, workflows, automation pipelines, and SOPs.
- Provide L2/L3 support for Nautobot automation-related incidents and enhancements.
- Monitor platform health, job failures, sync issues, and system logs.

Preferred- Skills :
- Strong experience with Nautobot or NetBox (DCIM/IPAM) platforms.
- Hands on expertise in Python for developing plugins, scripts, and automation jobs.
- Solid understanding of network technologies (Routing, Switching, Firewalling).
- Experience with Ansible, Nornir, or similar network automation frameworks.
- Good knowledge of REST/GraphQL APIs and JSON/YAML data models.
