ServiceNow CSM Developer

Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow CSM Developer with a minimum of 6 years of total experience, including at least 3 years specifically in ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM) implementation. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven, individual contributor adept at designing, developing, and troubleshooting complex CSM solutions. You will play a crucial role in enhancing customer service processes, leading technical solution design, and ensuring the smooth operation of the ServiceNow platform within an Agile execution model.
Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow CSM Solution Development :
- Develop and implement robust ServiceNow CSM solutions that align precisely with client needs and business requirements.
- Lead technical solution design sessions for CSM implementations, contributing to process improvement and documentation within the CSM domain.
- Design, code, and troubleshoot applications specifically within the ServiceNow platform, with a strong focus on CSM modules.
Platform Management & Support :
- Manage the ServiceNow platform and infrastructure, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of Customer Service Management processes.
- Provide advanced support for ServiceNow CSM, including thorough troubleshooting, timely bug fixes, and in-depth root cause analysis.
ServiceNow Development & Customization :
- Apply expertise in ServiceNow Scripting and contribute to complex development and implementation tasks.
- Hands-on experience with UI Pages/Macros, Menus, Workspace, Workflows, Flow Designers, Flow Actions, Integration Hub, Spokes, and REST/SOAP API Solutioning.
- Develop and customize within Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, and Scoped Applications.
- Leverage expertise in Service Portal development using JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML, Server-Side Scripting & Style Sheets.
- Demonstrate strong experience in Application Development on ServiceNow, including proficiency with App Designer and Application Scope Access Controls.
- Utilize UI Scripts, UI Policies, UI Policy Actions, Variables, Variable Sets, Business Rules, Script Includes, Glide System, and Glide AJAX for various customizations.
- Possess solid knowledge of ServiceNow OOTB (Out-Of-The-Box) APIs and adhere strictly to ServiceNow best practices.
Reporting & Analytics :
- Utilize experience in Reporting & Performance Analytics to provide insights into CSM operations.
Agile Collaboration & Quality :
- Operate as a self-driven and individual contributor, demonstrating minimal dependency on other team members, aligning with an Agile-based execution model.
- Actively participate in Agile Project Execution Methodologies, Ceremonies, and processes (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Possess a good understanding of overall development processes and quality processes followed within development.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience :
- Minimum 6+ years of total experience in IT and software development.
- Minimum 3+ years of direct experience in ServiceNow CSM implementation.
ServiceNow Core Development :
- Strong proficiency in ServiceNow Scripting (JavaScript).
- Hands-on experience with UI Pages/Macros, Menus, Workflows, Flow Designers, Flow Actions.
- Expertise in developing with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts.
- Familiarity with Glide System and Glide AJAX.
ServiceNow Modules & Features :
- Proven experience in Service Catalog and Knowledge Management implementations.
- Experience with Scoped Applications, App Designer, and Application Scope Access Controls.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Integration Hub and Spokes.
- Proficiency in REST/SOAP API solutioning and integrations.
Service Portal :
- Strong development skills in Service Portal using JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML, Server-Side Scripting, and Style Sheets (CSS).
Reporting :
- Experience in Reporting & Performance Analytics within ServiceNow.
Methodologies :
- Awareness and practical experience with Agile Project Execution Methodologies and Ceremonies.
Communication :
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Personal Attributes :
- Self-driven and capable of working as an individual contributor with minimal dependency.
- Good understanding of overall development processes and quality assurance practices.
