Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Native Mobile QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in mobile test automation and quality engineering.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating high-performance mobile applications, implementing automation strategies, and ensuring application stability across diverse devices and operating systems.

This role requires advanced technical skills in Java-based automation, mobile automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and strong analytical abilities to identify and resolve defects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

Mobile Test Automation :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for native Android and iOS applications using Java-based automation frameworks.

- Utilize Appium or equivalent mobile automation tools to execute UI, functional, regression, and end-to-end tests.

- Build modular, reusable, and scalable automation components aligned with best coding and testing practices.

- Integrate automated scripts with mobile device farms or cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Firebase Test Lab, etc.

Test Planning & Execution :

- Prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on functional specifications and user stories.

- Perform manual functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing when required.

- Ensure complete test coverage, defect traceability, and adherence to QA standards throughout the release cycle.

- Document defects clearly and work closely with developers to debug issues and validate fixes.

CI/CD & Quality Engineering :

- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to establish continuous testing practices.

- Monitor test execution, optimize build quality, and analyze testing trends to improve overall product stability.

- Contribute to QA framework enhancements, code reviews, and improvements in automation architecture.

Technical Problem Solving :

- Troubleshoot failures, analyze root causes, and propose long-term solutions.

- Work with logs, debugging tools, and device-level diagnostics to identify system-level issues.

- Ensure proper testing across different OS versions, device types, screen resolutions, and network conditions.

Mandatory Skills & Technical Expertise :

- Strong experience in automation testing using Java, including test design patterns and OOPs principles.

- Hands-on expertise with Appium or equivalent mobile automation frameworks for Android and iOS.

- Ability to write, execute, debug, and maintain automation test scripts for mobile applications.

- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into continuous delivery workflows.

- Strong understanding of software testing principles, OOPs concepts, and automation best practices.

- Experience preparing test cases, test plans, test data, and detailed defect reports.

- Solid understanding of mobile application architecture, API testing, and device ecosystem variations.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with TestNG, JUnit, Maven, Gradle, or similar test frameworks and build tools.

- Knowledge of REST API testing using tools like Postman or REST-Assured.

- Exposure to version control systems such as Git.

- Familiarity with performance testing for mobile applications.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
