Role Overview :

As a Power BI Developer based in Bangalore, you will serve as a critical bridge between raw data and actionable business intelligence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into intuitive, high-performance dashboards and reports. Your daily contributions will directly influence how the organization tracks performance metrics and manages product lifecycle data, ensuring that leadership has the visibility needed to drive strategic business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable Power BI dashboards to provide stakeholders with real-time visibility into key performance indicators and operational metrics.

- Architect complex data models and write advanced DAX queries to ensure data accuracy and report performance across large datasets.

- Collaborate with PLM teams to integrate product lifecycle data into reporting frameworks, enabling better tracking of product development cycles.

- Optimize existing SQL queries and data pipelines to improve the speed and reliability of data extraction for reporting purposes.

- Maintain and migrate legacy reports from Tableau to Power BI to standardize the enterprise reporting environment and enhance user accessibility.

- Partner with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional technical specifications that align with organizational goals.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building interactive visualizations and complex data models using Power BI and DAX.

- Proficient in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries to manage data extraction and transformation from various enterprise sources.

- Proven ability to manage reporting transitions and cross-platform migrations, including experience with Tableau environments.

- Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes and how data integration impacts product development workflows.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical data concepts to non-technical stakeholders and management.

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, office-based environment in Bangalore, demonstrating adaptability to shifting project priorities and tight deadlines.

- Possess 4 - 6 years of professional experience in data visualization and business intelligence development.
