Job Title : MuleSoft Developer (Mule 4)

Role Overview :
We are looking for a skilled and experienced MuleSoft Developer to design, develop, and implement scalable integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4).
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API-led connectivity, integration patterns, and data transformation, along with hands-on experience in building robust APIs and integrating enterprise systems.
You will play a critical role in enabling seamless communication between systems, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability of integrations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
1. API & Integration Development :
- Design, build, and deploy APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Mule 4.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services, and EDI-based integrations.
- Follow API-led connectivity approach (System APIs, Process APIs, Experience APIs).
- Create modular, reusable, and scalable integration solutions.
2. Anypoint Platform Utilization :
- Work extensively with MuleSoft components, including :
1. Anypoint Studio for development
2. API Manager for API governance and lifecycle management
3. Runtime Manager for deployment and monitoring
4. Anypoint Exchange for asset reuse and publishing
- Manage API versions, policies, and access controls.
3. Data Transformation & Mapping :
- Perform complex data transformations using DataWeave 2.0.
- Convert data between different formats such as JSON, XML, CSV, and EDI.
- Ensure data consistency, validation, and error handling across integrations.
4. Integration with External Systems :
- Integrate MuleSoft applications with third-party systems, SaaS platforms, and legacy systems.
- Work with different communication protocols like HTTP/S, JMS, FTP, SFTP.
- Handle EDI transactions and file-based integrations (CSV/XML).
5. Event-Driven Architecture :
- Implement asynchronous and event-driven integrations using Kafka topics.
- Design solutions for real-time data streaming and messaging.
6. Performance & Monitoring :
- Monitor API performance and system health using Runtime Manager and logging tools.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and integration issues.
- Optimize APIs for scalability and high availability.
7. Security & Compliance :
- Implement API security best practices including :
1. OAuth 2.0 authentication
2. JWT token-based security
3. API policies (rate limiting, throttling, IP whitelisting)
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards.
8. CI/CD & Deployment :
- Support and implement CI/CD pipelines for Mule applications.
- Work with tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven for automated build and deployment.
- Manage deployments across environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod).
9. Collaboration & Documentation :
- Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders.
- Participate in design discussions, sprint planning, and code reviews.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for APIs and integrations.
Required Skills (Mandatory) :
- Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft (Mule 4)
- Expertise in RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services, and EDI integrations
- Strong proficiency in DataWeave 2.0
- Knowledge of API design standards (RAML/OpenAPI)
- Understanding of integration patterns and architecture
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API security practices
Nice-to-Have Skills :
- Experience with MuleSoft Private Cloud Edition (PCE)
- Hands-on experience with Kafka or messaging systems
- Exposure to microservices architecture
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Certifications (Preferred) :
- MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1
