Overview :

We are seeking a talented Java Backend Developer with expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, and Cloud-based architectures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and implementing robust backend solutions, integrating with multiple systems, and contributing to high-performance enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications using Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between applications and external services.

- Work on data integration projects, optimizing performance and productivity.

- Collaborate with small and large teams across multiple projects, ensuring code quality and timely delivery.

- Implement asynchronous messaging and event-driven systems using Kafka.

- Work on database design, development, and optimization for both SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to solution design for complex systems.

- Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bamboo, or other automation tools.

- Deploy and manage applications in AWS / PCF cloud environments.

- Work on frontend tasks (React.js, ~15%) as required for full-stack integration.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for scalability, reliability, and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 3 years of experience in Microservices architecture.

- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Microservices.

- Hands-on experience with Kafka, integrations, and messaging systems.

- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (any major database).

- Knowledge of React.js (~15% frontend exposure).

- Proficiency in designing robust RESTful APIs and ensuring application scalability.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, and cloud deployment on AWS / PCF.

- Strong problem-solving skills and effective team collaboration and management capabilities.

- Proven experience in delivering high-performance applications in enterprise environments.

Preferred Attributes :

- Ability to work in hybrid work mode, managing tasks independently.

- Experience working in data integration or financial domain projects (like Franklin Templeton).

- Strong communication skills for collaborating across teams and mentoring junior developers.
