Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced IIB Developer with strong expertise in IBM Integration Bus (IIB) and Java development for a large-scale Banking project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions, enabling seamless communication between banking applications, APIs, databases, and third-party systems.

This role requires hands-on experience in middleware integration, API development, message transformation, and enterprise application integration within a banking or financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Integration Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using IBM Integration Bus (IIB) / IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE).

- Develop message flows, ESQL modules, message mappings, and integration services.

- Build and support interfaces between banking applications, core systems, and external partners.

- Develop reusable integration components and frameworks.

2. Java Development :

- Design and develop Java-based integration services and middleware components.

- Create RESTful and SOAP web services to support enterprise integrations.

- Develop utility programs, custom connectors, and automation scripts.

- Ensure coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices are followed.

3. Banking Domain Integration :

- Work on banking and financial services applications involving payments, customer onboarding, lending, treasury, cards, and transaction processing systems.

- Integrate core banking systems with internal and external applications.

- Support secure and compliant data exchange across banking platforms.

- Understand banking workflows and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

4. API & Middleware Management :

- Develop and maintain REST and SOAP APIs.

- Perform message transformation using XML, JSON, DFDL, and other formats.

- Implement error handling, exception management, and logging frameworks.

- Support API lifecycle management and integration governance.

5. Production Support & Troubleshooting :

- Provide L2/L3 support for integration platforms and production incidents.

- Perform root cause analysis for application and integration issues.

- Monitor middleware performance and recommend improvements.

- Participate in release deployments and post-production validation activities.

6. Agile Delivery :

- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality integration solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- 4- 9 years of experience in IBM Integration Bus (IIB) / IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE).

- Strong hands-on experience in Java development.

- Expertise in ESQL, Message Flows, Message Sets, DFDL, and Mapping Nodes.

- Experience in RESTful APIs and SOAP web services.

- Strong understanding of XML, JSON, XSD, WSDL, and messaging concepts.

- Experience with MQ Series (IBM MQ) and middleware technologies.

- Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech projects.

- Exposure to IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE).

- Knowledge of Kafka, ActiveMQ, or other messaging platforms.

- Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2 databases.

- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.

- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, and DevOps practices.

- Understanding of cloud integration platforms and microservices architecture.
