About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing scalable, high-performance backend applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, REST APIs, FastAPI, and Docker, along with a solid understanding of backend development and microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.

- Build and integrate RESTful APIs using industry-standard development practices.

- Develop high-performance and asynchronous APIs using FastAPI.

- Design and implement scalable backend services and microservices.

- Containerize applications using Docker and ensure consistent development and deployment environments.

- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.

- Implement API authentication, authorization, validation, error handling, and security best practices.

- Integrate internal and third-party APIs and services.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application, API, and performance-related issues.

- Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability and code quality.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.

- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Follow Agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required Skills:

- 5+ years of professional experience in Python development.

- Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming.

- Hands-on experience developing REST APIs.

- Strong experience with FastAPI.

- Good understanding of API design principles, HTTP methods, status codes, authentication, and error handling.

- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized application deployment.

- Good understanding of microservices and backend architecture.

- Experience with debugging, testing, performance optimization, and version control.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good to Have:

- Experience with asynchronous programming in Python.

- Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-native application deployment.

- Experience with API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI.
