About the Role:

We are looking for a Lead Python Developer experienced in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications and APIs using Python. The ideal candidate should have strong programming fundamentals, hands-on experience in API development, and the ability to lead technical implementation and contribute to architecture and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Python.

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.

- Lead technical implementation and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.

- Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

- Design efficient backend components and optimize application performance.

- Integrate third-party APIs and enterprise systems as required.

- Implement authentication, authorization, error handling, logging, and API security best practices.

- Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to other developers.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application and API-related issues.

- Write unit tests and ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.

- Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and architectural decisions.

- Follow Agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Required Skills:

- 4 - 6 years of professional experience in Python development.

- Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming concepts.

- Hands-on experience developing and consuming REST APIs.

- Strong understanding of API design principles, HTTP methods, status codes, authentication, and error handling.

- Experience building scalable and maintainable backend applications.

- Good understanding of software development lifecycle, debugging, testing, and version control.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to independently drive development tasks and provide technical leadership to the team.

Good to Have:

- Experience with Python web frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.

- Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, or cloud platforms.

- Understanding of microservices architecture.
