Moonshine Technology - Software Engineer - Backend Development

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable backend services using Python and Django

- Build and manage real-time systems using WebSockets and asynchronous architectures

- Optimize high-concurrency and compute-heavy systems for performance and reliability

- Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, etc.)

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in CPU-intensive workflows

- Design efficient data storage solutions using PostgreSQL and Redis

- Build distributed systems for large-scale computation (task queues, batch processing)

- Ensure high-quality code through testing, documentation, and code reviews

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for system observability

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of strong backend development experience

- Strong proficiency in Python with experience in async programming and performance optimization

- Hands-on experience with Django / Django REST Framework

- Experience with WebSockets (Django Channels / ASGI)

- Strong understanding of AWS cloud ecosystem

- Expertise in PostgreSQL and Redis

- Experience in handling high concurrency and scalable systems

- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
