Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced SDE 3 (Node.js) to design, build, and scale backend systems that power high-traffic gaming platforms. You will work closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver robust and low-latency services.

Job Title : Software Development Engineer - 3 (Node.js)

Location : New Delhi (Chhatarpur)

Work Mode : Hybrid (2 days work from office, 3 days remote)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js

- Own end-to-end development of critical backend modules.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.

- Design and work with RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Handle high concurrency and real-time systems.

- Collaborate with product, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams.

- Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews.

- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 4+ years of experience in backend development

- Strong expertise in Node.js (JavaScript / TypeScript)

- Experience with microservices architecture

- Hands-on experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis

- Experience with message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS

- Strong understanding of system design and scalability

- Experience with REST APIs and WebSockets

- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Good to Have :

- Experience in gaming, fintech, or high-traffic systems

- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or GCP

- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes

- Understanding of backend security best practices
