Moodle Developer Consultant

Job Role Overview :

- Develop custom plugins, modules, and themes for Moodle

- Integrate Moodle with third-party systems (CRMs, ERPs, content platforms)

- Optimize Moodle for performance, usability, and scalability

- Provide ongoing support, upgrades, and maintenance of Moodle environments

- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with learning objectives

- Deliver technical documentation and handover as required.

Technical Requirements :

- In-depth understanding of Moodle's architecture and database structure

- Experience with custom Moodle plugin and theme development

- Strong knowledge of SCORM/xAPI, and e-learning compliance standards

- Integration experience with APIs, web services, SSO (OAuth2/SAML)

- Familiarity with cloud hosting, DevOps, and Git version control

Ideal Consultant Profile :

- 10+ years of experience with Moodle, including large-scale or enterprise implementations

- Strong consulting background with the ability to manage client interactions independently

- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and code optimization skills

- Moodle certifications (optional but preferred)

- Ability to work on a flexible/part-time basis depending on project scope

Contract Terms :
