Job Description

We are looking for a skilled MongoDB Developer with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing document-based data solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in MongoDB schema design, performance tuning, and cloud-based deployments, along with experience working in modern, distributed application environments.

Key Responsibilities :


- Design and develop MongoDB schemas aligned with application access patterns and performance requirements.

- Implement operations, aggregations, indexing strategies, and query optimizations in MongoDB.

- Work with application teams to integrate MongoDB with backend services and APIs.

- Manage and support MongoDB deployments on cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).

- Configure and maintain replica sets, sharding, backups, and restore strategies.

- Monitor database performance and proactively resolve issues related to scalability, availability, and reliability.

- Ensure data security, access control, and compliance with best practices.

- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and performance tuning initiatives.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD and cloud infrastructure support.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB (schema design, indexing, aggregations, performance tuning).

- Experience with MongoDB Atlas Change Streams.

- Experience working with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Good understanding of NoSQL concepts and distributed database systems.

- Knowledge of backup, recovery, and high availability strategies in MongoDB.

- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of Kafka or messaging systems.

- Understanding of data migration and large-scale data ingestion.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
