Job Title : MBD Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MBD (Model-Based Development) Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in model-based development using MATLAB and Simulink, with a strong focus on powertrain systems and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and validating control system models, contributing to the development of innovative solutions for advanced vehicle technologies.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement model-based control systems using MATLAB and Simulink, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
Design, develop, and validate control system models, including plant modeling, for powertrain systems, encompassing :
- Diesel and Gasoline engines
- Gearbox functioning
- Electric drive/machine control
- Battery SOC (State of Charge) and SOH (State of Health)
- Vehicle Dynamics
- Utilize m-scripting to automate model development, simulation, and analysis tasks.
- Develop and implement models in Simulink and Stateflow, ensuring compliance with MAAB (MathWorks Automotive Advisory Board) guidelines.
Design, configure, and operate dSpace HIL systems and toolchains, including :
- Synect
- ConfigurationDesk
- ControlDesk
- ModelDesk
- ProveTech (is a plus)
- Conduct model verification and validation activities using HIL testing to ensure model accuracy, performance, and robustness.
- Analyze system requirements and translate them into model-based designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, software developers, and test engineers, to integrate models into the overall development process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to model development, simulation, and HIL testing.
- Document model designs, development processes, and test results.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our model-based development methodologies.
Requirements :
- Primary Skill : MBD Plant Modeling, MATLAB, Simulink, HIL, Powertrain domain.
- Expertise in model-based development using MATLAB and Simulink.
- Strong know-how and understanding of m-scripting.
- Proficiency in modeling in Simulink and Stateflow as per MAAB guidelines.
- Expertise in dSpace HIL systems and toolchains : Synect, ConfigurationDesk, ControlDesk, ModelDesk.
- Experience in HEVs and BEVs Systems' overview, including Diesel and Gasoline engines, Gearbox functioning, Electric drive/machine control, Battery SOC and SOH, and Vehicle Dynamics.
- Very good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with other model-based development tools.
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN).
- Experience with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
