Mobile App Release Engineer

Job Overview :

We are looking for a Mobile App Release Engineer with strong hands-on experience in managing end-to-end release cycles for iOS and Android applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing publishing workflows, managing store submissions, resolving compliance issues, and ensuring smooth and timely releases across environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Release Management :

- Manage complete mobile app release cycles on Apple App Store and Google Play Console.

- Perform pre-release checks including metadata updates, screenshots, versioning, privacy details, and compliance verification.

- Handle build distribution for TestFlight, internal testing tracks, alpha/beta releases, and staged rollouts.

Build & Signing Operations :

- Manage provisioning profiles, certificates, signing keys, keystores, and bundle IDs.

- Troubleshoot build failures, code-signing issues, submission errors, and policy rejections.

- Work closely with DevOps to ensure correct build configurations for release pipelines.

Quality & Compliance :

- Validate app readiness, release artifacts, and rollout plans before submission.

- Monitor submissions for compliance, store guidelines, and policy updates.

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong experience with App Store Connect & Google Play Console.

- Hands-on experience publishing apps and handling store communications.

- Expertise in signing, certificates, provisioning profiles, keystores, and versioning strategies.

- Practical experience with staged rollouts, internal/beta testing tracks.

- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills
