Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our team and support the design, implementation, and maintenance of our corporate office network infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting LAN/WAN environments, Data Center networks, VLANs, and enterprise-grade firewalls, with a strong focus on network security, performance, and high availability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for network services including WAN, LAN, Wireless, Data Center, and VPN/Client connectivity (Cisco/Meraki/Aruba/Arista Networks).
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level LAN/WAN networks across corporate offices and Data Centers.
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Set up and manage VLANs, including trunking and inter-VLAN routing to ensure efficient traffic segmentation and routing. Configure and maintain link aggregation using LACP for bandwidth optimization and redundancy.
- Implement and manage high availability protocols such as HSRP and VRRP for gateway redundancy.
- Modify access and core switch configurations to support SD-WAN migration, including traffic shaping, policy-based routing, and integration with edge devices.
- Configure and manage wireless networks using Cisco, Meraki, and Aruba solutions, including controller-based and cloud-managed deployments.
- Implement and manage network security protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Manage and maintain firewall platforms (e.g., Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto), including rule base configuration, NAT policies, and VPN setups.
- Collaborate with ISP/telecom providers for link provisioning, troubleshooting, and service upgrades.
- Plan and oversee structured cabling installations, including copper and fiber optic systems.
- Install, terminate, and test fiber optic cables and manage fiber patch panels for Data Center and office connectivity.
- Participate in technology evaluations, Proof-of-Concepts, and service development initiatives.
- Lead or support migration projects from traditional WAN to SD-WAN architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network requirements for new projects and office expansions.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).
- CCNA/CCNP Certification in at least one domain.
- Familiarity with Data Center networking, including high availability and redundancy concepts.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios).
- Knowledge of network monitoring/diagnostic tools and packet capture analysis.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Flexibility to work across time zones and global teams.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of SD-WAN and network automation tools.
- Experience with cloud networking would be an added advantage (AWS, Azure, GCP).
