Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Middleware Infrastructure Engineer / SME with strong hands-on expertise in IBM MQ, Kafka, middleware infrastructure, and AWS / cloud migration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing middleware platforms, supporting application teams during cloud migrations, troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, and driving upgrades and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage, administer, and support middleware infrastructure environments across development, testing, and production.

- Provide hands-on support for IBM MQ / WebSphere MQ and Apache Kafka platforms.

- Support application teams with middleware configuration, connectivity, and infrastructure changes during AWS migration initiatives.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex middleware, messaging, connectivity, and application infrastructure issues.

- Plan and execute middleware upgrades, patching, migrations, and complex production rollouts.

- Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) testing, infrastructure maintenance, capacity planning, and resilience initiatives.

- Define and implement middleware standards, operational procedures, security practices, and best practices.

- Collaborate with application, cloud, networking, security, and operations teams to resolve technical issues and deliver infrastructure changes.

- Monitor middleware environments and proactively identify performance, availability, and capacity-related issues.

- Act as a Middleware SME, providing technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentorship to engineering and operations teams.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Middleware Infrastructure.

- Expertise in IBM MQ / WebSphere MQ administration and troubleshooting.

- Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka / Kafka infrastructure.

- Hands-on experience with AWS Migration / Cloud Migration projects.

- Good understanding of messaging architecture, middleware connectivity, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

- Experience in DR testing, upgrades, patching, and infrastructure maintenance.

- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
