Middleware Engineer

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Ensure smooth functioning and stability of middleware technologies and application/web servers.

- Manage incident and problem resolution while adhering to SLAs.

- Proactively monitor applications, middleware components, and systems to identify performance issues.

- Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and support teams to optimize middleware performance.

- Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.

- Administer Control-M for automation job management and scheduling.

- Ensure system security, scalability, and compliance with IT standards.

- Perform root cause analysis and provide permanent fixes to recurring issues.

- Document processes, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.

Core Skills & Requirements :

- Proficiency in shell scripting and automation techniques.

- Hands-on experience with middleware technologies, application servers, and job schedulers (preferably Control-M).

- Working knowledge of databases, firewalls, load balancers, and networking fundamentals.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.

- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
