Role Overview :
We are seeking a seasoned Microsoft 365 Collaboration Engineer (L3 Support) to join our enterprise infrastructure team in Bangalore. In this high-impact role, you will serve as the final point of escalation for complex technical challenges across our global collaboration ecosystem. You will work closely with cross-functional IT teams, security stakeholders, and business unit leaders to ensure seamless communication and productivity. By architecting robust solutions and optimizing our M365 environment, you will directly influence the digital employee experience, ensuring that our collaboration tools are secure, scalable, and aligned with evolving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Resolve complex L3 technical escalations related to Exchange Server, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams to minimize downtime and maintain high service availability for global users.
- Automate routine administrative tasks and complex environment configurations using advanced PowerShell scripting to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual error.
- Manage and secure the M365 tenant by implementing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and compliance standards to protect sensitive corporate information.
- Integrate and manage third-party collaboration platforms like Slack with the M365 suite to create a unified and frictionless communication workflow for diverse teams.
- Lead the deployment and optimization of Microsoft Copilot features, ensuring that AI-driven productivity tools are effectively adopted and governed across the organization.
- Develop custom automation workflows and reporting tools by leveraging Microsoft Graph API to provide actionable insights into platform usage and performance.
- Adhere to ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management to ensure all technical interventions are documented, scalable, and risk-mitigated.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale, enterprise-grade environments involving Exchange Server, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams with a focus on high availability and performance tuning.
- Proven ability to write complex PowerShell scripts for environment automation, bulk user management, and reporting, alongside a strong grasp of Microsoft Graph API for custom integrations.
- Deep understanding of security frameworks, specifically in configuring and troubleshooting DLP policies and M365 compliance features to safeguard organizational data.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical root-cause analysis clearly to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of collaborating effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing independent technical deep-dives with team-based project delivery.
- Ability to manage the lifecycle of collaboration tools, including the transition and integration of platforms like Slack, while maintaining a focus on user adoption and system integrity.
- A minimum of 8 - 15 years of hands-on experience in M365 administration and L3 support within a fast-paced, global corporate environment.
